Coronavirus COVID-19 Update

Latest announcement by the government in the news that dentist can open on the 8th June 2020.

Throughout the pandemic, we have been clear that our first priority is the wellbeing of our patients and staff and this continues to be the case. As a result, the practice will only be reopening once we are satisfied that we have all of the necessary processes and personal protective equipment in place to ensure everyone’s safety.

Dentists were not given any notice of our reopening date and the information was only received via the daily briefing.  We are working around the clock to get protocols and procedures in place based on the latest guidance made available.

We will contact patient via email with more information about when the practice will reopen and will also be updating the website. In the meantime, please do not attempt to make a new appointment or attend the practice in person for any reason unless you are asked to do so. If you need advice, or if you are in need of urgent dental treatment, you should continue to call the practice and leave a voicemail. One of the dentists will return your call and be able to help.

We are determined to support patients who need care as quickly as possible and will be opening the practice to provide further treatments as soon as we are safely able to do so. We will keep you fully informed throughout this process

Facial Rejuvenation & Peel Treatments

As our skin ages and gets more exposed to sunlight, pollution, and stress we may start to see unwanted fine lines and wrinkles. Facial Rejuvenation treatments target these signs of ageing with a non surgical approach. The overall effects can be amazing so get ready for younger-looking skin.

Our Aesthetic Practitioners are fully qualified dentists who have undertaken additional training to perform non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments, anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers.

Our treatments are carried out using only the best quality materials and equipment. Whether you already have or are considering wrinkle reduction treatment in our clinic, we will welcome you for a consultation giving personalized advice and care.

Muscle relaxing drugs

Products like Botox® can be used to treat dynamic wrinkles of the face (forehead wrinkles, frown lines and crows feet). Botox can also be used as a preventative measure, reducing the strain of the muscles in areas prone to wrinkles.

Is it safe?

The Botox procedure is one of the safest available for the reduction or softening of wrinkles. Botox is used to treat frown lines between the eyebrows, forehead wrinkles, and lines around the eyes (Crow’s Feet). Botox can also be used to treat lines around the mouth and those on the neck.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers (Juvéderm®) consists of hyaluronic acid which is used to lift and firm up your skin by replacing the natural collagen lost as you age. The most commonly affected areas are nose-to-mouth lines and smokers' lines around the lips. Dermal fillers will also improve the contours of your lips and cheek bones, adding volume and shape.

The gel is administered into the skin in tiny amounts with a very fine needle. The result is instantaneous and produces a long-lasting, natural enhancement, safe and gentle to your skin.

Chemical Facial Peels

What is a chemical peel? A simple 30-45 minute treatment using substances that which exfoliate the skin at a medium- deep level and stimulate the dermal skin structure resulting in rapid cell renewal to provide a more youthful, smoother skin texture and tone and rejuvenated appearance. 2 types of peel are now available.

Glycolic acid peel

A potent AHA derived from sugar cane and fruit acid- application can be used to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, acne and light pigmentation. Skin is more radiant with a fresher more youthful appearance.

TCA peels

A non-toxic acid is applied to provide a deeper peel over a course of 4 treatments. It is used in the treatment of deeper lines and wrinkles, acne, pigmentation, sun spots and melasma. The effects of such peel will be longer than that of a lighter peel. It needs to be provided as a course of peel treatments over 2-4 months.
