Bikram qualified from King’s College Dental School in
1992 obtaining BDS and subsequently LDS, RCS
qualifications. He spent one year in general dental
practice before entering into Oral and Maxillofacial
Surgery training in hospital. He passed the FDS RCS exam
in July 1997. In March 2000, Bikram was placed on the
Specialist list.
Bikram has also been working in private practice
since 1996 and is a visiting specialist based in
St.Albans and London. Currently, he also works in Oral
and Maxillofacial Surgery at Whipps Cross Hospital and
runs an Oral Surgery Service in West London.
Implantology has been a great interest over the last
ten years, and he has been involved in their placement
in both hospital services and in general practice. He
exclusively uses the Straumann implant system and places
them both in the UK and Ireland.
He is a member of the British Association of Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgeons and The Society for the
Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry. Additionally,
he is a member of the British Association of Oral
Surgeons. |
